The Center in Processing, Research and Application of Advanced Materials (PRAMA) was established on the SPI basis in 2002. PRAMA is intended to better integrate the materials science and technology sector in Lithuania into the European research area by putting the capabilities of SPI to a greater service of the economical and social needs of the country. In order to intensify the integration process PRAMA seeks to enhance the links with outstanding research centres in EU and NAS through networking, twinning, exchange and training arrangements for the benefit of Lithuania and the EU as a whole.
